The Durham Centre for Excellence (D’CENTEX) promotes advancements to the diversified groups of the newcomers and the underserved population in the Greater Toronto Area and its neighbouring regions.
We provide education, counseling and other support services from language instruction to employment support, job search programs, and information programs on Canadian Culture and life for Landed Immigrants, Refugees, and Caregivers.
We provide functional independence through the conduct of various activities and community events to stimulate intellectual, physical and social skills as part of normal integration into community living and personal growth for the Blind and Partially Sighted.
